A Sign of Party Unity, Tom Wade Style

After the pounding that his preferred candidate for Family Court Judge, Richard Hanft, took in last week's primary, you'd have thought the oversized Hanft signs peppering Rensselaer County would have been in Tom Wade's trunk last Wednesday morning. Not so. In fact, only Tuesday did the party heaquarters cease to have a Hanft sign along routes 9 and 20, causing at least one Democrat to question who their parties nominee actually was. We'll offer Tom a few lessons in party unity, or ways to not sandbag your "new" nominee, after November. He's going to be busy until then preparing for the Republican tidal wave scheduled for November 3, and if it's anything like the last time the Dems ran without Executive or Clerk candidates, we hear Tom's position will be washed out too.
