Another Loss for the DA

Remember the advertisements that Rich McNally was going to straighten out the District Attorney's office? As we head into month six of the DA's term, the losses are piling up for Team McNally on some big cases involving violent offenders.

So far, McNally has lost a murder trial involving a man stabbed outside a Troy bar, blown a case involving a Troy woman shot by her ex-boyfriend during his furlough from state prison and this week, lost an attempted murder case because his office didn't file charges in time.

What was the saying by the family member of one of the victims after one of the McNally losses? "If you want to commit a murder, come to Troy".

Another blown case, another violent offender free on our streets.
