Council Collapse

It is a stunning collapse.

For nearly six months, the Democratic majority on the Troy City Council has tried to wrap themselves around the issue of pay raises for several city employees. The Council Dems moved to rescind the raises, even after the stunning revelation of an e-mail by Councilman Bill "Bully" Dunne calling for some of the employees to have their salaries reduced as "punishment".

That move was followed by a strong lawsuit filed by members of the Tutunjian administration. And that lawsuit has led to the Council Dems folding in just a matter of hours, and dropping what was once their top issue.

More on this breaking story to come.
