Take a Stand

We planned on finally discussing the $6 million worth of bungling by the Troy City Council's Democrat majority, the seven or eight new taxes they plan on levying and some presidential stuff, but the terrorist-friendly Virtual Jihadi exhibit being staged in Troy tonight commands attention.

Majority Leader of the Rensselaer County Legislature Bobby Mirch plans on a protest of the exhibit depicting the suicide bombing assassination of the President at 5:30 p.m. outside the Sanctuary for Independent Media on Sixth Avenue. The exhibit was cancelled by RPI after the content was revealed, but the ultra-liberal crowd at the Sanctuary eagerly is giving the Virtual Jihadi exhibit a place to play.

Mirch has been getting a lot of coverage for his stand against the exhibit. Rumor has it that the Democrat Party doesn't like that one bit and is working with the Sanctuary to stage a counter-protest. If you don't support exhibits that depict the killing of the President, then come on out and support Mirch and hopefully many others.

The protest will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. We'll get back to the other stuff this week.
