Last spring, Ron Canestrari spent $775 on tickets to the Tony Awards...hardly something many of his constituents would do with such a sum, but to each his own. [NYSBOE] What troubles me is that Canestrari represents some pretty destitute areas where that amount of money represents two weeks' paychecks. Don't get me wrong, I like Canestrari. He's a nice guy, and I've always gotten the impression that he really cares about the people in his district, but this is just a bit too out there for my liking.
