Who Does He Think He's Fooling?

The Troy Record had a long letter to the editor from Westchester County Assemblyman George Latimer. Latimer laughably claims that his biggest priority is upstate New York’s economy, even though he represents a downstate suburb of New York City.

Oh, really? Then where was Latimer’s denunciation of Miz Hillary, who promised New Yorkers 200,000 new jobs if she was elected as U.S. Senator in 2000? The real motivation for Latimer’s concern: He wanted to run for lieutenant governor in 2002, and if our calendar is correct, there’s a Democratic statewide convention coming soon.
