Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand could be tapped for Senate by Governor Paterson, based on criteria we are not really sure of, unless you count the fact that Gillibrand may be the only Democrat north of New York City with more than two pantsuits.
If Gillibrand is appointed, it would probably mean a primary. And we can't wait to see Gillibrand campaigning in NYC in 2010 and explaining the NRA endorsement she connived to grab for her reelection in 2008.
