Bob Mason was a big man on the radio during his days at WPYX 106 FM in the '80s. Remember the Breakfast Clubs and other stunts? Mason was apparently a lot less popular at the County Democrat fundraiser on Monday in Troy.

Dems who were there tell us Mason was tapped to serve as Master of Ceremonies. Mason built his routine around the shocking Spitzer sex scandal, and troubles involving Hillary Clinton and new Governor David Paterson. Word is, Mason even threw a shot at CB Smith. Some Dems showed their displeasure by walking out of the event.

What does that say about the image and reputation of the Democrat Party when your MC bases his act around your party's scandals and short-comings? The negative headlines are sure piling up fast around the Dems!
