The County That Hillary Forgot

Hillary Clinton did well in Rensselaer County last week, beating Obama 63% to 35%. As thanks for this hard work, the Rensselaer Democrats will be sending no one to the national convention.

That can't be right. Where's Ginny O'Brien or Keith Hammond? What about Pete Ryan or Bill Dunne? Or even Tom Wade?

Nope. Not a one. Of the 13 delegates and alternates who were chosen for the districts that include the county, not a single Rensselaer Dems made the cut. In fact, Hillary is more trusting of a mayor who backed a Republican for governor in 2002 than she is of anyone in Rensselaer County. Now that's got to hurt.
