Brown Down the Drain

Sources tell us the John Brown Water Debt Giveway is finished. Kaput. Cancelled. Down the drain. The killers of the idea? Brownies fellow Democrats, at least those few who told him they would not support his giveaway of the water debt.

Democrats tell us this is a major embarrassment for Brown. Brown did not consult his fellow Democrats about the far-fetched idea, angering some. The fact that Brown was essentially letting Rensselaer off the hook for potentially millions soured the Dem gang. Watch for this idea, rolled out with a lot of fanfare by Brown, to get shelved unless Brown can cut some deals with his fellow Democrats.
