The sale of City Hall is being discussed seriously, which is great. Riverfront property should serve as more than a shrine to bureaucracy on which no tax revenues are generated. Personally, I think the current site would function quite nicely as a museum and memorial to all the downtowns in America that were decimated by the bankrupt concept of urban renewal: there's certainly a niche to be explored. Of course, the atrium would serve as an even more appropriate monument, and there's certainly enough space inside.
