Comment Posting Policy

It's time we laid out a general policy: do unto others as you would want done unto you. I haven't been the best role model in this; I made a very insensitive, crude remark about a private individual and I apologize. (I do, however, stand firm in my belief that Mike LoPorto is the best thing to happen to the Republican Party since Thomas Nast pegged the Democrats with the donkey as their logo). Let's keep in mind that a difference exists between public figures and private individuals, and as responsible anonymous posters, you should respect that. Neither the dinner routine of the Smith household nor the romantic escapades of county employees shall be a topic of discussion from here onwards. Also, false accusations of authorship on this website will continue to be deleted (if nothing else, for lack of originality).

I do not, under any circumstances, want to engage in the practice of banning people from the comment section, something which seems to give our friends at the Troy Polloi one hell of a charge. Please don't let things reach that point.

Finally, if you have something mind-blowing, be sure it can be substantiated, and email it. The address is troypolitics over at gmail dot com.
